Being Off . . .

I am off work trying to feel better. Elijah stays home with me Mon and Tues. Wednesday thru Friday he goes to daycare.

Update

Elijah is doing great! He had a little cold but seems to be feeling much better now. Okay now me on the pther hand. . . I am a big mess. I have a kidney stone and I am waiting for the 26th to get it blasted. I also, have some boils on my stomach. They are gross and infected and it hurts bad. I will update random pics later today.

Hey everyone! I finally changed my February background. I am such a geek I can not figure out these backgrounds. . . So, I will be changing mine again soon. I hope everyone is doing well. We are getting quite hot here in st george . . . I think it was like 93 today. Oh one of my best friends is back in town!!! Yay! Maren is back! I am so freakin happy. Today we hung out and also walked/jogged webb hill. I will post a pic. It's an awesome workout. Well I will be getting new pics up shortly.

Saturday

At noon we went to our neighbors annual Easter Party Potluck across the street. They have a bounce house and easter egg hunt for the kids.

Saturday morning we starter our day by going to a City Easter Egg hunt at Vernon Worthen Park. If you sopke to me on Friday I would have said tha there was no way I was going to anything around town because I knew it would only be pure chaos. Hmm well I ended up at the hunt in the rain!

Elijah likes to think he is just as big as everyone else. :) Whenever I pull out the WII he wants in on the action. So, I made him a MII person (it kind of looks like him)It is so fun to watch him play. He gets so excited - - whenever he hears applause he says I WIN. Even if they are cheering for the other player.

We have a new edition to our house - - - - its in the backyard and it is Elijah's favorite new love! My parents bought him a swing set a while back but its taken a while to get it all together. So now I have pictures of his first time playing on it~

Three Day Weekend

How nice to have 3 days off of work and school! Elijah and I have just been relaxing. My day is still at the rehab center and hopefully should be home later in the week. I will be updating pictures soon. Hope all is well with everyone! Here are a couple pics from Elijah's bath the other day. :)

Hinder Concert

I went to the Hinder concert last night - had a blast! Elijah is doing well and having surgery Tuesday to have his adnoids taken out and tubes in his ears - for a 2nd time! My dad is doing good and at a rehab center Love n Hugs!

Update on My Dad

He is out of surgery and in recovery. The dr said it went well. He had craters in is knee that didn't show up in the MRI. He said craters are like holes are something. Weird. . . well he is doing fine . . . I'll try to sneak some pics within the next few days :)

Yesterday's Post

I just wanted to make sure I did not offend anyone with my last post. The jerk post was not directed at anyone in particular (I have known a few jerks in my lifetime) =)- - - It just bothers me when someone is not honest and straight up. It is better to talk through things than say what someone wants to hear. Well hope everyone has a good day. My dad is having his knee replaced today. I am still sick and do not really have a voice and Elijah has an ear infection so we are staying home. I will keep you all posted on my dad.

So I have been advised to read the best book in the world! It is called How to Avoid Marrying a Jerk by John Van Epp. And here is the his take on the definition of a JERK:

The New Year

Here's an update! I will put new pics on soon. Christmas and New Years went well! Elijah is now the BIG 3! He loves dinosaurs and cars. He is a chatty boy! His newest phrase is after pretty much everything he says its - all day all night- He will say things like I love waffles - all day all night! Haha Elijah attends the daycare at the hospital 3 days a week and loves it. As for me - I am back in school, taking my CNA course. And getting closer to having my RN - well not that close, I am not in the program quite yet. Pics will be up soon!
