QUOTES

Here are some good Quotes on Breaking Up.

“Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it’s better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.”

“Some people think that it’s holding on that makes one strong; sometimes it’s letting go.”

“I don’t miss him, I miss who I thought he was.”

"If someone you love hurts you cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it."

Usher said -"Breaking up is a natural evolution when you try to figure out what you want in life. If you're with an individual who isn't moving in the same direction and at the same rate that you are, it ain't going to work."

Nicole Kidman said "I refuse to let what happened to me make me bitter. I still completely believe in love and I'm open to anything that will happen to me."

Update on My Dad

He is out of surgery and in recovery. The dr said it went well. He had craters in is knee that didn't show up in the MRI. He said craters are like holes are something. Weird. . . well he is doing fine . . . I'll try to sneak some pics within the next few days :)

Yesterday's Post

I just wanted to make sure I did not offend anyone with my last post. The jerk post was not directed at anyone in particular (I have known a few jerks in my lifetime) =)- - - It just bothers me when someone is not honest and straight up. It is better to talk through things than say what someone wants to hear. Well hope everyone has a good day. My dad is having his knee replaced today. I am still sick and do not really have a voice and Elijah has an ear infection so we are staying home. I will keep you all posted on my dad.

Wonderful Book

So I have been advised to read the best book in the world! It is called How to Avoid Marrying a Jerk by John Van Epp. And here is the his take on the definition of a JERK:

That goes back to what earns a person the label "jerk." I always start presentations by asking people to think of someone they've known who's a real jerk. The answers are always different: selfish, self-centered, doesn't handle emotions well, it goes on and on. A jerk is somebody who has a significant or serious problem area with their personality and has no interest in altering it. A jerk is the person who, deep down inside, is not willing to change something that hurts the person they're in a relationship with.
